Founded in 2022 by local artist Maya Hart, our shop brings together makers from the Nenana valley to the Tanana River to share heirloom techniques and contemporary work.

It started with a single market table, a handful of pieces from friends who wove, carved, and stitched, and a simple idea: Fairbanks deserved a place where that work could live year-round, not just for one summer weekend. Today, our storefront on 2nd Avenue carries the work of dozens of artisans, and our online shop ships that same work anywhere in the world.

We prioritize sustainable materials, fair pay, and the slow craft of handmaking. Every artisan we work with sets their own prices and keeps the majority of every sale. We believe a gift means more when you know whose hands made it — so we make sure that story travels with every piece, in-store and online.

Our shop is small by design. We'd rather carry fewer pieces, chosen carefully, than fill our shelves with anything that doesn't reflect the place it comes from. When you shop with us, you're supporting a working artisan community in Interior Alaska — not a supply chain.
